		<description>[...] Oh man, you didn&#8217;t really believe me did you?  Especially after reading that bit about the flotsam and jetsam.  Still, I hope you watched the video, because with all the crap going on with the financial institutions in America, it is interesting to see why and how those institutions are failing.  The base they have built is false.  The money they lent you never did exist.  In fact, I would say the first ten minutes of this video are so important that everyone on the internet should watch them.  The entire concept that banks lend you the very money that you will be paying them back and in doing so create money from nothing is at once disturbing and enlightening.  Not to mention one of the greatest robberies of all time (leaving out the priceless treasures in the British Museum which must count as the second greatest heist of all time).  Understanding the institution we are buying into while trying to make a crust online is, in my opinion, essential for our overall sanity, perspective and balance.
